Mars Hill Network

Mars Hill Network is a local Christian radio station in Syracuse, NY. This project was a complete redesign of their previous website. This is a WordPress development and design that incorporated a new sleeker responsive design that allowed for dynamic broadcast schedules, robust blogging for multiple authors, podcasting, a community calendar with a a front-end submission form that needed admin approval of events, linking to online streaming of the radio station and online donation options.

Timeframe

3-4 months Total project design and development was about 3-4 months.

Process

After reviewing the original website we setup an initial meeting to discuss some of the challenges with the current website and what they wanted to incorporate in the new website. From there we designed the new site on a test site location until all of the bugs and design issues were complete and satisfactory for the client. Once apporved the design was transferred to the client's hosting account and replaced th old Wordpress with the new Wordpress with total downtime to the site less than an hour.

Additional Info

Project came in right on budget and client is very satisfied with the work. We currently manage the website for them with new graphics and certain admin functions on a monthly basis.
